John S. Carroll, CPA

John S. Carroll holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Louisiana College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. John's work experience began with small CPA firm during his undergraduate college years. John has nine years of international accounting experience with the firms of Deloitte and Touche, and BDO Seidman. In February of 1997, after purchasing a CPA firm, he moved back to his home state of Louisiana to operate his own firm, John S. Carroll, CPA, LLC. In January 2018, he added a partner to the practice, thus changing the company name to Carroll & Johnston, CPAs, LLC. John specializes in Oil and Gas/Consulting & Logging industries but can work with any accounting needs.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. John also serves as a director on the bank boards of Caldwell Bank & Trust and Progressive National Bank. John has also serviced as a trustee of the Louisiana Baptist Foundation. John is a member of First Baptist Church where he serves as Church Treasurer, Men’s Ministry Director, Deacon and Sunday School teacher.

John and his wife, Sonja, live in Columbia, Louisiana. They have four grown children and many wonderful grandchildren.

Bradley L. Johnston, CPA

Bradley L. Johnston holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Brad began his accounting career in 1990 when he joined his father’s accounting firm Johnston & Company, CPAs, LLP. In January 2018, he joined John Carroll to form Carroll & Johnston, CPAs, LLC. He has extensive experience in tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses through multiple industries, ranging from small businesses to multi-million-dollar corporations. He has many years of experience in the Auditing field, as well.

Brad is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. Brad is a past President of the Northeast Chapter of Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also served on many committees for the state society. He has served on the board of several non-profit organizations through the years.

Brad married his wife Sharon on September 29, 1990. They currently live in West Monroe, Louisiana. They have four grown daughters and grandchildren with whom they enjoy spending time.

Leah B. Williams, CPA

Leah B. Williams holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Northeast Louisiana University (currently ULM).

In 1981, Leah began her professional accounting career and has experience in tax preparation, accounting and auditing. She currently works at the Monroe location of Carroll & Johnston, CPAs, LLC.

Leah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Leah and her husband, Joel, reside in Mangham, Louisiana. They have three grown children and are members of Mangham Methodist Church.

Savanah Lee, CPA

Savanah Lee holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Savanah is a candidate member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants and is in the process of obtaining her license.

Savanah's work experience began at a local accounting firm, specializing in bookkeeping and tax preparation. She joined our team in 2020, where she continues to work in bookkeeping and tax preparation for individuals and businesses.

Savanah is married to Ian Lee, and they live in Columbia, LA. Savanah is a member of First Baptist Church and participates in the church's praise team.
